This month’s focus
Gardening Topic – Root Your Branch: The Method of Air Layer and Propagation
We will focus on air layering and propagation as practical methods for multiplying plants and expanding what can be grown at home and in community spaces.
Nutrition/Cooking Topic – Pesto with Basil, Parsley, and Sorrel
The nutrition and cooking portion will feature pesto made with basil, parsley, and sorrel, highlighting how fresh herbs and greens can be combined into a versatile, flavorful sauce. Participants will learn how to balance the brightness of sorrel with the depth of basil and parsley while exploring simple preparation methods that can be adapted based on what is available seasonally.

Please RSVP individually for each adult attending
In order to help us better prepare for the accurate number of attendees, we ask for a small deposit ($7) to register for the workshop. Once you attend, you will receive a voucher to spend the deposit at the Village Market Place. If the deposit is prohibitive, you may request a waiver by emailing csu@csuinc.org. Please note: waiver recipients who are no-shows/no-call the day of the workshop will not be eligible to receive a waiver for future workshops.
