DESCRIPTION:We are excited to be back with another season of Garden Gateway workshops!! \n\nWorkshop Topics: Garden Planning & Making Gazpacho\nDate: Saturday Sept 9\, 2023\nTime: 9:00 am – 12:00 Noon  \nLocation: Paul Robeson Community Wellness Center \n6569 South Vermont Ave.\, Los Angeles 90044 (at Village Market Place)\n\n\nGardening Topic – Garden Planning: We are kicking off a new season with a deep dive into planning for your garden. Whether you’re planning for your next season of planting\, or just getting started – growing in the ground or on a patio – this workshop will help you plan for a successful growing season ahead! Where is your sunlight? How do you access water? What’s your soil like? What do you like to eat? Where do you plan to grow? Participants will work together to map out their garden and then create a high-nutrient soil blend to take home. Come ready for hands-on activities.\n\nCooking Topic – Gazpacho: We will demonstrate how to make this simple cold soup loaded with summers most flavorful veggies. Participants will take home ingredients to make recipe at home.\n\n\nGGW participants must RSVP using this form to receive free materials. RSVP’ing helps us plan for the workshop. Please RSVP individually for each adult that will be attending with you.
