Since 2004\, Ivan has been learning\, training & teaching under the guidance and leadership of Mestre Amen Santo who is the founder of Brasil Brasil Cultural Center Capoeira Batuque and is originally from Salvador\, Bajia – Brazil the birthplace of capoeira.
